B/S/H/ Household appliances is a global enterprise with 38 production facilities around the globe and with $15.6 billion per year (in 2022). B/S/H/’s Turkiye campus in Çerkezköy is the most complex including 2 refrigerator plants and washing machine, dishwashing machine, drying machine and cooking owen plants.  The material flows from the production centers of the suppliers until the delivery of the finished products to end customers.  The flow of parts/components demanded by these plants, the flow of material within the campus and the flow of the finished products until delivery/installation at the customer are monitored and managed in real-time. A variety of data is received from different stakeholders such as suppliers, port operators, customs brokers, freight forwarders, warehouses, container yard operators, ERP, multimedia systems and processed in real-time. Arçelik optimizes inbound logistics operations using MilkRunOpt

Integration of suppliers and Arçelik’s Ankara Dishwasher plant yielded %15-%20 savings in inbound logistics operations. The system allows for scheduling pick-ups from the suppliers routing of the vehicles in the MikRun operations, management of raw material inventory profiles while ensuring the availability of raw materials for production plans. The project produced very successful outputs and in 2019, it was awarded the second prize in the category of Collaboration Developers in Koç Holding’s Most Successful Koç Employees competition.


Tüpraş optimizes inbound logistics operations using MilkRunOpt

Tüpraş's purchasing and sales operations are highly sensitive to spot market prices of crude oil and its derivatives. Our fully automated solution provides spot market price forecasts for crude oil (Brent), naphtha, jet fuel, diesel, fuel oil. The customized implementation also allows for incorporation material experts' bias towards future prices. The system is being used by purchasing and sales departments since August 2018.
